Measure

We measure your rooms with a laser device to ensure accuracy down to one inch. These measurements are verified for accuracy three times. Our templates are guaranteed to be an accurate representation of your physical spaces. Alcoves, columns, doors, and windows are included so you know exactly where everything is located.

Template

MurPlan Consulting uses intuitive technology that is easy to interact with time and time again. We do the work once and then you have a template to use forever for planning an unlimited number of events. If you ever need a revision or additions we are happy to oblige. Turnaround time is fast...it takes about a day to create your customized room template.

Teach

We provide you with personalized instruction for you, your team, and any event planning staff within your organization. Components are easy to drag and drop into place, and they can be rotated 360 degrees to fit your layout needs. Want to see it in 3D? Easy to do with the orbit and pan features. We include one hour of in person training, and more can be given as needed.

Collaboration

Our lightweight templates allow seamless input from your team members. Coordinate remotely for virtual meetings to plan event space layout even when teams can't all physically be together.

Pen and paper

are old school. Gone are the days of scribbling and guessing distances and measurements. You can fit more attendees at your event more comfortably when you know exactly how foot traffic with flow. Set opposing table edges 5ft apart so there's room for chairs to be pulled out. Allow at least 4ft of width for high traffic areas where guests pass by one another. Strategically position your drink stations to serve tables in zones thereby avoiding congestion in any one area of your space. Layout the pathways your serving staff with use to bring food and clear tables. Everything imaginable can be detailed in our templates to serve your specific needs.

Are part of your team remote workers, or are they in the field more than in the office? Enjoy portability and working on the go with our portable and lightweight templates. Teams can easily collaborate on Windows PCs and Laptops, Macs and Macbooks, Tablets, iPads, Androids, and iPhones. Edit your template on the go and either share with your team via email, send to your cloud drive, or upload into your other project management software. Layers of diagrams

One room template can have multiple layers of information. Begin with your blank floor plan template. Add your table and chair diagram layer. Next, a server traffic flow layer with drink stations and server zones. Is your event being recorded? Add a layer for camera locations, speakers, lights, and even cable management. MurPlan can be as detailed as you need it to be.

Customizations

Nearly any element or component can be added to your template. We'll include accurate digital representations of your tables, chairs, serving stations, speakers, lighting elements, stages, decorations, and anything else you can think of. This is YOUR individualized template showcasing the possibilities of YOUR space.

Design features

Our design features offer a range of tools to increase efficiency. Buffer zones can be drawn in to prevent placement of items in traffic flow and emergency egress areas. Table and chair components can be drawn as one unit allowing quick placement and accurate spacing so guests aren't running into each other .

Building blocks system

Grab a table and chair component, drag it, and drop into place. Do you have 50 tables? There will be a stack of 50 tables in your template to pull from. The handy tape measure tool allows you to keep components a certain distance away from one another.

Rotate and scale

Rotate any item or component in your template 360 degrees. This feature gives you unlimited flexibility for designing your layout and pedestrian traffic flow. Are you upsizing a flower arrangement and it will take up 75% more space? Simply scale up the flower arrangement component in your template for an accurate update on how its size will impact your overall diagram.
